The name CenterPoint was chosen to capture the essence of the breed. The center point of all things is 1bal·ance: to bring to a state or position of equipose b: to poise in or as if in balance c: to bring into harmony or proportion d: an aesthetically pleasing integration of elements e. the ability to retain one's balance f. mental and emotional steadiness

We have been involved with the breed since 1985, through our friend and mentor, Michael Boughton (1964-2005) of Rainbow Australian Shepherds. We adopted Rainbows Mariposa Molly, "Molly" from Michael in 2000. In 2003, we had our first litter by crossing Molly and Ch Moonlights Must Be Magic—"Wizard". We kept one puppy out of this litter and named her, CenterPoints Magic Friday, "Razzle". Razzle became our first ASCA Champion, and has since aquired other titles in ASCA agility and obedience, AKC obedience and NADAC. Razzles' sister, CenterPoints Hocus Pocus—"Kenzie", has followed suite acquiring her ASCA Champion title, ASCA herding and agility titles and NADAC titles.

We will continue to strive to bring out the best in this versatile breed through education, training, competitive events and the daily teaching from our dogs. We are currently training and competing in agility, herding, obedience and conformation.
